The broader markets have been pushed up and down from one day to another on news event. One day, it’s trade war concerns and the markets drop, the next day the concerns are over and the markets rise. Another day, it is the Korea summit that is off and the markets drop, but in the afternoon maybe it’s not and markets rise.

Do any of these gyrations actually mean anything in the larger picture of the market’s direction?
