In this Educational Chart of the Week Below,

In the 6-15-25 COTW, we reviewed, There is No Crying in Trading! A Great Setup Last Week That Vanished.

Last Week, we Nailed the Trade!

As with any trade, the analysis will play out as the analysis suggests or not.

Last week, the stars aligned for a great trade. Read Below.

In the previous Chart of the Week, I wrote, "Just like learning any other profession, becoming skilled at trading comes with its fair share of challenges. One of the toughest to accept is when a textbook setup—one that has historically led to highly profitable trades—completely falls apart.

However, the truth is that we can't control everything, especially news or market reactions. Learning to accept that is part of becoming a self-reliant trader.

The Master Trader top-down method of stock market analysis is a comprehensive approach that starts with a Techno-Fundamental perspective and narrows to individual stocks.

Master Trader uses a Top-Down method to educate students through courses and letter memberships

In each Master Trader live event, recordings are uploaded to MT Weekly Advantage. We cover MTS trading concepts and apply them to directional trend trades, countertrend trades, and non-directional trading strategies, allowing traders to trade the instrument itself or utilize options.

We emphasized that individual concepts alone are insufficient as trading strategies and demonstrated how to combine them to form a comprehensive trading plan that yields effective MTS trading strategies.

Sticking With the Analysis and Plan

In the 6-23-25 Advisory Swing and Options Trader Letter, I said, “Now that prices have formed a minor trading range between last week’s high and low, we have clear lines of distinction.

Above the previous week’s high, it opens the possibility to clear the PH from two weeks ago and into the Void above.

A break below last week’s low, and the odds of testing the 50-MA and MS are good. Set your alerts.”

The move above the highs occurred, and the Dow was on its way higher, with little to stop it.

It has been a long time of waiting for the Dow and other markets to break out of their respective ranges, and that happened last week.

Once the move higher began into the Void, the Dow advanced to the next resistance area where the bearish -180 formed in March and the 44,000 level.

Once the Dow cleared its resistance, the odds were high that the Dow Futures used for trading (YM) would move into the void and reach 44,000.

If you are new to Master Trader and still using esoteric analysis tools like trend lines, Fib lines, VWAP, or worse, to find support or resistance, look to the Left. 😊

This week, ff prices can clear Friday’s high; they should be able to move up to the next level of resistance, marked as MR.

That does not mean that prices cannot retrace a small amount or have a negative day, but they should continue to move toward that higher level as long as they do not revert to the original starting point.

Notice that the starting point has a cluster of support points together.

The previous high is now Minor Support (mS); the 43,000 (a whole number) is present, and below is the unfilled gap (it should not be filled in the short term). The 20- and 200-MAs are aligned with the unfilled gap, and Major Support (MS) and the 50-MA are located below them.

If prices were to return to MS, something in the bullish scenario that has occurred has gone very wrong!
