I will explain how to define a strong trend and when it is changing.

Strong uptrends have attributes that communicate that buyers are in solid control. As those attributes change, it signals a change in beliefs and trend. 

Unless the price action becomes climactic (an extended move), trend transitions can be difficult trading times. Bulls rarely give up quickly and transitions tend to be wide erratic ranges.

Technical Analysis is an Art.

What makes technical analysis and art? A single candlestick or pattern alone cannot determine a high-probability trade setup. 

Master Trader Technical Strategies (MTS) combine multiple trading concepts into Strategies.

The above slide says Price is King, and everything else is secondary. You can't remove the prices regardless of what you use to determine your trades.

We look at the prices in a candlestick format because they provide pictures that display others' beliefs and expectations.

As prices move up, down, or sideways, they form trends in multiple time frames (MTF). Part of the art of technical analysis is how to read MTF.

Once we determine a trend and pattern, the location of the pattern in relation to support and resistance will be key to its ability to move with momentum.

While we need adequate volume to measure liquidity, the idea that volume must increase in the trend direction does not always hold true.

The broader market environment (bullish, bearish, or neutral) will significantly influence most stocks but not all. Sector analysis is important.

Market internals and Intermarket analysis will help guide when broader markets are at a bullish or bearish extreme and when money is rotating between sectors.

Position and Money Management are essential to lasting in any business.
