COF: Many traders are paralyzed to buy Breakouts or short Breakdowns out of fear that they will quickly fail. Master Trader teaches how to detect the “tells” to ensure that these Setups will succeed. Let’s start with looking at the price action on COF at the first two blue arrows. They are both Upside Shakeouts since they attempted to break out and got slammed back down to the consolidation. Let’s now focus on the third arrow which was a Master Trader -123 Continuation Breakdown (-123) where we recommended to subscribers to short the stock. First we had a bearish Wide Range Bar (-WRB) closing Breakdown, which was a short pattern under the low of that bar. The prior consolidation created Major Resistance overhead and there was a Price Void below (i.e., insignificant support to the left). The -123 Setup then requires a bearish inside bar which stays in the bottom 40% of the –WRB, as you can see. It triggered where shown, providing us with an easy-to-manage profitable swing trade.

CCL: Get Paid to predict where a stock will NOT go by expiration using Master Trader Strategies (MTS). We use our technical-based approach to sell liquid options around bullish and bearish patterns when the premium (credit received) is generous for the assumed risk. We literally get Paid to predict where a stock will NOT go by expiration using Master Trader Strategies (MTS). Notice the bullish price action on the bottoming pattern in CCL. It was forming a huge W-Bottom reversal once we had confidence in the retest holding (which it did where we entered at the blue arrow). We sell puts (or a put spread) at/under support, which is the $14 strike in this case which was far away and highly unlikely to close below by expiration. Selling 20 contracts of this put spread would have generated $600 in premium (1 contract represents 100 shares of the underlying). You can see how the stock moved up nicely delivering easy gains in a short time where we booked half profits, and trail-stopped out of half in just a few days! And the best part of this strategy is that the stock can actually go against you and you still make money if managed properly!
