CSCO: It’s no mystery that many Breakouts/Breakdowns fail. So how to participate with confidence? Master Trader teaches how to detect the “tells” to ensure high-probability Setups. CSCO was a beautiful no-brainer Breakdown after clear, failed attempts to move higher. It was in a downtrend, with lower pivot highs and lower pivot lows, and declining 20/50-MAs. Both green marked candlesticks were bearish Wide Range Bars (-WRB), negating the bullish gap open. This is bearish price action. Following the second green marked –WRB candlestick, CCSO closed with two Topping Tails (TTs), more signs of sellers lurking above, on Major Support. Trading under these lows was a perfect entry to buy liquid put options, which offer the benefit of leverage and limited risk. After entry, it fell easily into the Void below (i.e., insignificant support to the left), allowing us to book a quick 43% ROC in one day with easy trade management.
