Follow-Up: Corsair Gaming (CRSR) – How Patterns Evolve Into New Setups

In this weekend’s Master Trader Chart of the Week, I featured Corsair Gaming (CRSR) as an example of a developing swing trade pattern.

At Master Trader, we are technical traders first. We use pattern recognition to identify trade opportunities and incorporate sector analysis into the process.

When a sector is in favor and institutions are putting money to work there, chart patterns are more likely to follow through.

This follow-up is a good example of how patterns evolve and how new opportunities can develop.

That is not unusual. - Chart and Analysis Below.

This is an important concept in Master Trader Technical Strategies (MTS):

Sometimes the first reversal setup does not trigger or does not follow through, but if a second reversal forms in the same area, it can become an even better opportunity.

Why?

Because the first pullback after a strong move is often steep enough to create a downtrend on a smaller timeframe. That short-term weakness can make traders hesitate.

However, when price retests support and begins to reverse again, it often creates a bottoming pattern on the lower timeframe, bringing it back into alignment with the higher timeframe uptrend.

That alignment of multiple time frames is one of the keys to finding higher-probability swing trades.

In CRSR, the stock is still in the early stages of a new uptrend after an extended period of basing. The sharp run-up, pullback, and possible retest-and-reversal pattern are exactly the kinds of price developments traders must learn to recognize and evaluate objectively.

This is what we teach in the Master Trader Swing Trading Course and the Complete Swing Bundle.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Recognize high-probability swing trade patterns
  • Understand how trends evolve across multiple time frames
  • Use bar-by-bar analysis to improve entries and exits
  • Identify when a pullback is normal and when it may be a warning sign
  • Build a trading process based on objective price analysis rather than opinion

If you want to learn how professional swing traders analyze charts and develop trade plans with confidence, the MT Swing Trading Course and the Complete Swing Bundle are designed for you.
