Below is the chart from Trade Lesson, Part 1, from last week. You can read the text HERE.
We explained the powerful setup of fading a bearish gap in a downtrend and turning it into a breakout opportunity using Bar-by-Bar Analysis and Master Trader Strategies (MTS)!
Each trade lesson is an actual trade explained in Master Trader Weekly Advantage.
The Bearish Gap That Bullies is the Start of the Turn

In this Part 2 Lesson, we will “drill down” by analyzing the 65-minute chart. This will show you in greater detail the price action of the Master Trader Bearish Gap That Bullies, later setting up for a Breakout trade. This is how you refine your entries and maximize profit

The NYSE trading hours (9:30 – 4 p.m. ET) has six candlesticks on a 65-minute chart which equals one daily bar.
Looking at the 65-minute chart from the -Gap/+WRB Master Trader Bearish Gap That Bullies bar:
- The gap was fully reversed in the first hour (a 5- or 15-minute chart would provide a deeper breakdown).
- Price consolidated above the first 65-minute close and filled a prior gap resistance area—bullish price action.
- No buy over the daily +WRB high due to no Setup or Void.
- MDLZ then went sideways for three days at resistance above the +WRB and 20-MA, forming a bullish setup.
- A Bottoming Tail (BT) on the third day signaled an entry.
Trade Execution & Results:
Subscribers bought as shown, managing the trade by trailing pivots and selling partials into strength. The last day showed short-term exhaustion, so final profits were taken.
Profit:
The trade earned $480 (110% return on two call contracts) in a four-day swing. Buying 10 shares for $2,200 would have yielded a $2,400 profit.
At Master Trader, high-probability setups align multiple MTS concepts, revealing trader sentiment and money flow. Swing traders use the daily for setups, the weekly for bias confirmation, and smaller time frames for precision entries—maximizing profits.
