The S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 closed at new highs, despite a slowing global economy, ongoing U.S.-China trade war, and impeachment drama.

The markets are now entering the historic best six months of the year.  The VIX (Volatility Index) also fell to near 52-week lows, suggesting subdued risk concerns.

With the FOMC’s third interest rate cut last week, the U.S. Dollar has fallen 2% from its high which is a plus for U.S. exporters.
